Henovate

ERP and operational systems for organizations.
Dedicated technology partnerships for startups.
Applied AI for intelligence, forecasting and automation.

Engineered for a connected world.

Your Venture.
Our Technology Team.

Henovate works with founders from concept through launch and growth, providing the engineering expertise, technical leadership and integrations required to build and advance their products.

From challenge to solution

A business vision needs an engineering path.

Typical situations and how Henovate can approach them. The solution is defined around your requirements.

01

The founder has a product idea, but no technology team.

The challenge

Early decisions about architecture, scope and development can distract from customers and the business.

How Henovate helps

Henovate provides a dedicated technology partnership: we plan and engineer the product while the founder leads business direction and priorities.

02

The first release keeps growing in scope.

The challenge

Unclear dependencies and competing features make it difficult to agree what is ready to launch.

How Henovate helps

We define a practical first release, delivery milestones and acceptance criteria, then build reviewable increments with the founder.

03

An AI feature sounds useful, but its value is unclear.

The challenge

A product can inherit model cost, unreliable outputs and data dependencies before the user need is understood.

How Henovate helps

We assess the use case, prototype with suitable data and evaluate outputs before integrating AI into the wider product and its operating controls.

Founders lead the business. We lead the technology.

A dedicated technology partnership combines engineering delivery with clear responsibilities. The signed engagement defines the exact allocation.

THE FOUNDER

Business direction
and growth.

  • Business vision, market and customer growth
  • Operations, fundraising and commercial decisions
  • Product priorities and business approvals

You bring the business context and decisions that guide the product.

HENOVATE

Agreed technology
responsibility.

  • Product architecture, engineering and technical roadmap
  • Infrastructure, integrations and deployment
  • Testing, maintenance and development planning

We provide the technology team responsible for the areas agreed together.

Engineering continuity, from inception through scaling.

Each stage has a different question to answer. The roadmap and scope should reflect the venture’s actual starting point.

01

Concept & feasibility

Translate the problem into an achievable technical plan. Identify the assumptions and dependencies that need early attention.

02

Roadmap & architecture

Prioritize product workflows, integrations, infrastructure and delivery milestones around the business direction.

03

MVP build

Develop the agreed essential workflows and prepare a useful initial product for validation with users.

04

Launch

Release the product, monitor its operation, resolve issues and coordinate required service providers.

05

Product evolution

Iterate from user evidence and business priorities while maintaining continuity in the engineering work.

06

Scale

Improve architecture, reliability, team capacity and integrations as the product’s needs warrant.

The right disciplines.
A coordinated team.

The team is configured around the product, delivery stage and integrations required. Illustrative roles may include:

Solution architect / technical leadFrontend, backend or mobile engineeringUX/UI and product experienceQuality assuranceDevOps and infrastructure

Roles are illustrative, not a guaranteed headcount. Team composition is agreed for the engagement.

A partnership needs a working rhythm.

Define how priorities become engineering work, who makes decisions and how progress is reviewed.

01

Technical leadership

Agree the technical lead, architecture responsibilities and the route for resolving engineering decisions.

02

A clear point of contact

Establish the client contact, product approvals and the people responsible for dependencies outside the engineering team.

03

Visible progress

Agree a reporting cadence, reviewable deliverables and a prioritization process tied to business direction.

04

Delivery governance

Define scope changes, acceptance, risks, access and the responsibilities of external providers.

The product is more than its interface.

A technology product may depend on applications, data, payment services, external platforms and infrastructure. We consider these relationships as part of the engineering work.

Enterprise applications

Translate operating requirements into connected applications and business rules, with interfaces suited to the people using them.

  • ERP and operational modules
  • Web and mobile interfaces
  • Roles and business rules

Choose the engagement that matches the responsibility.

Project-based delivery, a dedicated team or a long-term technology partnership may apply.

The model should make the scope and technical responsibilities clear. Pricing, intellectual property, third-party costs, infrastructure accounts and transition terms are defined in the agreement.

Compare engagement models

Capacity and partnership are different.

A dedicated team provides agreed engineering capacity. A long-term technology partnership includes broader agreed responsibility for architecture, roadmap, integrations and improvement.

No automatic equity arrangement or executive authority is implied.

Clarity before commitment.

Who owns source code and intellectual property?

Ownership, licensing and intellectual property rights are defined in the signed agreement. They should be clarified before work begins.

Can Henovate work with an existing product?

Yes, subject to technical assessment and agreed scope. The starting point is to understand the product, codebase, infrastructure, integrations and current constraints.

Who pays for cloud services and third-party providers?

Infrastructure, subscriptions and external provider costs are handled as agreed in the engagement. No default cost allocation is implied.

How often do we review progress?

The reporting and review cadence is agreed in project governance, along with prioritization, approvals and the client point of contact.

Does a technology partnership automatically include equity?

No equity arrangement is implied by the term technology partnership. Commercial terms require a separate agreement.

What happens when the engagement ends?

Handover, access, documentation and transition responsibilities follow the signed agreement. These should be discussed before work starts.

Building a venture that depends on technology?

Tell us about the product, the stage you are at, and the technical support you need.

  • What problem does the product address?
  • Is this a new idea or an existing product?
  • Which workflows and integrations are essential?
  • What are the immediate priorities and constraints?
